For most mums with an established supply, yes. Our customers consistently report comparable output to traditional corded electric pumps. The pump has a suction range of up to 300mmHg across three modes, which gives it the power to maintain your supply effectively. Two things make the biggest difference: getting your flange size right and giving yourself two or three sessions to find your settings. Most mums find their best output by session three.

The pump comes with a 24mm silicone shield, which fits the majority of mums comfortably. After pumping, your nipple should move freely in the tunnel without your areola being pulled in. If there is rubbing or pinching you may need a larger size. If there is a visible gap around your nipple you may need a smaller size. As a general guide, measure across your nipple in millimetres and add 2-3mm — 24mm suits most mums, but if you measure significantly outside this range it is worth factoring in before ordering.

The pump operates at under 60dB, which is comparable to a normal conversation. In practice this means it is quiet enough to use in a meeting room, at your desk, or anywhere you would normally have a quiet conversation. It is not completely silent, but the vast majority of our customers use it at work without anyone knowing.

Yes. The double pump is designed to be used on both sides simultaneously, which is the most efficient way to pump. Each unit operates independently so you can also use just one side if you prefer.

Each pump unit has an 800mAh battery and provides over 1.5 hours of use per charge. At a typical session length of 15-20 minutes, that covers multiple sessions on a single charge. We recommend charging both units overnight so they are fully ready for the following day.

Each order includes: 2 x pump main units, 2 x silicone shields, 2 x silicone diaphragms, 2 x milk collectors, 2 x tee pieces, 2 x duckbill valves, USB-C charging cable, and an instruction guide.

Before using the pump for the first time, disassemble all parts and wash them thoroughly. After each use, disassemble and clean all parts that come into contact with milk. The silicone components can be sterilised between sessions. Do not clean the pump main unit or USB charging cable — wipe these with a clean dry cloth only. Do not insert any objects into the duckbill valve when cleaning as this may cause damage.

Yes. Every part of the pump that comes into contact with milk is BPA-free and made from food-grade materials. The pump has been selected to meet our quality standards for safety and performance. All milk-contact components can be fully disassembled, washed, and sterilised between sessions. We recommend charging with a certified 5V 1A power supply for safe operation.
